I rather not use SMS to communicate with clients in a personal workplace due to the fact that it wouldn't be professional nor acceptable seeing as its business and not a personal encounter or casual conversation.
I agree, I'll rather communicate with clients via email or phone for I feel as though the conversation can be easily misconstrued via SMS. I do feel as though SMS to communicate flash sales can be highly effective within the retail industry.
yes communication through text is not a good idea with clients or customers. it takes away the relationship between you and the customer or client. this could also be a bad idea if you were to ever have legal issues.
