Homework #6 - Part 2 - Google Fusion Tables

In reviewing Homework #6 in class on Monday, I decided to add some additional assistance in this post.

Excel Formula concatenate

I used this formula to create the locational data (full address) in one cell. Below is a video going over this function and how to use it.




In using Google Fusion Tables, I realized they have updated the menu and look of Google Fusion Tables. I recommend you use the classic (older version) because the videos I referenced, used the classic view. Below are screen shots of both views and how to move to the classic view.

You can move to the classic look by choosing from the menu    help:Back to Classic look

To view the map choose from the menu     Visualize:Map

  1. Fusion Tables can actually be a very useful tool when looking for an apartment. When looking for an apartment for myself I typed all possible apartment addresses in individually. This would have been much easier and saved much more time.
